    This year it will take place July 12-14, as they put it on the official site for the Indy Toronto weekend: “Two races, One weekend”!

    Just reading the details got me in party mode, I must confess the race part is the less important to me lol, that is for the guys mostly and their testosterone filled beings. For me the “Taste fest” with Free food samples, food trucks and “more delicious food offerings for our guests this year to ensure there is something to please every palate” and “Craft Beer Fest- guests will be invited to find their taste by sampling a wide range of Muskoka and Amsterdam craft beers” got my motors revvving to GO!

    This important event truly sounds like so much fun, and Canadian Dollar Bingo will not only be offering our players the chance to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes from May 10 to May 30 but we will also we awarding ONE lucky player and a friend of their choice a trip to the Toronto Indy this year, 2 nights accommodations in a great downtown Toronto hotel PLUS $500 in spending money!!

    Q 1: How does/did it feel to be the winner for our Niagara Falls Trip?

    1. I was surprised. I usually don’t worry about contests. I wasn’t checking daily like some people. I learned about it during bingo. It was fun! The pop ups were a bit embarrassing though lol.

    Q 2. I understand you took the cash instead of the trip, what will you be doing with your prize instead? Any plans?

    2. No, it’s too hard, if it was for a week maybe I could but it’s just not easy to travel for me, plus I’m busy one of the travel days. I want to take my mother somewhere. After my step-father passed away I moved to Toronto to be with her. It’s funny because she told me one of these days, even before I won, that she hasn’t been on vacation since 2006. She went to Spain with my step-father. She’s been too nervous to travel since. She’s 92 so even a weekend away will be great. I’ll take her and my daughter for a bonding weekend.

    Q 3. How does your family feel, knowing you won?

    3. My daughter’s excited. It’s not my first big win. A few years ago I won $50,000 on a scratch ticket.

    Q 4:  Have you ever been Niagara Falls before?

    4. Yes, I’ve been there when I was 12. Both my mother and my daughter have gone twice. We won a trip on this shows for Niagara college called Pressure Cooker a few years back. You submit this quiz online, and we even sent my cousin on a trip to wine country tour for the weekend. We were all laughing since it’s funny how Niagara Falls keeps popping into life.

    Q 5. Any tips you’d like to share with your fellow bingo roomies?

    5. Tips for bingo? Sure! When you’re winning, buy a lot of cards because you’re on a winning streak. When you’re not winning so much, buy fewer cards until you feel good about it. I believe in hot streaks and having streaks.

    Q 6. How have the roomies responded.

    6. The roomies have been wonderful, even the ones I don’t know that well. I can’t wait to see when harlett finds out, she’s going to go nuts. Poop emailed me for the win, and she was just so sweet about it. I wish it had been Las Vegas so I could go meet up with St8 and the others, but I don’t have a passport anyways so maybe next year.

    Q 7. Anything else you’d like to share with your bingo buddies?

    7. I love the chat room people, Jayne, Patty, April, Tex. They’re all just great people.
